IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM HMRC

Please see the urgent announcement that we have received from HMRC on Monday 4th July.
In summary, the free CHIEF training service provided for traders, declarants and intermediaries is closing from 10am on Tuesday 5 July 2022, and HMRC will stop receiving new registrations for new Importers for CHIEF from this date.
New Importers will not be authorised to use simplified import declarations on CHIEF from 10am on 5 July 2022.
They will now need to apply to do so via the Customs Declaration Service.
