Industry Experts Endorse Unique HR Product

A unique HR product developed by South Yorkshire software specialists got the backing of industry experts at a special event.
Leading names from the world of HR gave the thumbs up to PointSolutions' new SharePoint HR module at a roundtable held in Sheffield. Lorraine Archibald, former head of people at Asda, Genevieve Bradbury of Vie Talent and Rebecca Fielding, from Gradconsult, were special guests at the development event at the Electric Works, in the city centre. The Microsoft SharePoint solution is a one-stop-shop for HR teams, learning managers, department heads and directors and business owners. The software is designed to help businesses manage areas including annual leave, absenteeism, performances reviews and appraisals, timesheets, recruitment and provides a number of powerful management reporting tools on one digital platform. The system also gives staff secure access to information such as benefits, expenses and training via a self-service portal which also allows them to book holidays and review company policies and procedures. Rebecca Fielding specialises in graduate employment and has previously worked at Sheffield Hallam University, Asda and the Association of Graduate Recruiters. She said: -Over the last 15 years we've seen a variety of HR modules, but what I like about PointSolutions' new product is that it's so easy to use. It's intuitive, functional and straightforward. -It has a great template which also gives you the ability to tailor the module to what your business is all about. The people element of business can be complicated so it's fantastic to have a system which is bespoke to any company in any sector, which can also integrate with other Microsoft platforms.
