Inspirational Business Women Inspire a New Chair of the Board

30th May 2013

The new chair of the Inspiring Women forum is an inspirational choice! Previous holders of the post have been business owners in the City, but the group felt it was time for Kate Stephenson a member of the Sheffield Chamber group for the past six years and organiser of Forum events to be recognised for the work she does.

Kate, aged 31, takes over from financial planning expert Louise Oliver, from the Chesterfield-based Taylor Oliver Partnership, who has been in the position for two years. Louise, a regular panellist for BBC Radio 4 Moneybox, said: -I have decided it's time to let another member of the Board lead the group and continue to develop the forum as a leading light for businesswomen in Sheffield. -The group is all about inspiring women, encouraging business women to increase their brand, build confidence and progress. What better way to practise what we preach, than by putting a young businesswoman into the role for the group. -The group felt they have developed Kate, inspired her and watched her grow in her role, added Louise. Kate commented: -It's a great opportunity, and a privilege to lead such a well established group in the City. I hope I can do the role justice, and raise the profile further through an exciting events programme Kate can be contacted via hello@inspiringwomen.org or follow on Twitter @4inspiringwomen
