Inspiring Student Worker Award 2023

2nd March 2023

The University of Sheffield Careers Service is pleased to announce the launch of the Inspiring Student Worker Awards 2023 to recognise students who excel in their workplace and employers who help facilitate this.

Do you employ University of Sheffield students for part time work or short term internships? Perhaps you have employed our students to carry out a summer placement or vacation work?

Would you like the opportunity to tell them that they’ve done an excellent job?

Nominations are now invited for students who have made their mark in the following categories:

  • Significant Contribution Award
  • Leadership Award
  • Innovation and Problem solving Award
  • Team Award

There is also an Employer Recognition award for students to nominate their employers. Could this be you?

Students can nominate or be nominated as follows:

  • Have to be a registered student for the academic year 2022/23.
  • The work must have taken place between 1st July 2022 and 31st March 2023 and be a part-
  • time job, short term internship, vacation work or summer placement with a minimum duration of 70 hours (for the team category this is 70 hours combined where the students have worked as a team in the particular role).

FIND OUT MORE AND NOMINATE NOW!

Around mid-May, we plan to hold an evening of celebration for nominees and nominators where we will announce the winners of each category and present the prizes.

Closing Date: 31st March 2023 at 5pm
