Hello, we are The Steamworks, and we are delighted to be joining the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce.

Who we are.

The Steamworks is a vibrant, 11,000-square-foot event space in the heart of Sheffield, designed to bring people together for a variety of unique experiences. From bustling markets and creative workshops to community boxing matches and cinematic showings, we offer an eclectic range of events aimed at connecting Sheffield’s diverse community.

Our venue is also available for private hire, making it an ideal choice for celebrations, corporate gatherings, and unforgettable weddings. With customizable packages and a flexible setup, The Steamworks provides the perfect backdrop for any occasion.

As we continue to grow, we’re eager to connect with and learn from the thriving business community in Sheffield. 

Christmas Events at The Steamworks

To celebrate the festive season, we have a lineup of holiday events to bring the community together:
• Christmas Market – 4th December, 5pm - 10pm: Our festive market will feature local traders, delicious street food, and a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere. Whether you’re on the hunt for unique holiday gifts or simply want to soak in the seasonal spirit, this event is perfect for all ages (children welcome until 8 PM), and we’re dog-friendly too!

• Christmas Cinema Series - 6th - 8th December: Cozy up for our classic Christmas film showings including, Elf, Die Hard and Gremlins

• Christmas with Steamworks & Co – December 12th: As a thank you for the community’s support, we’re hosting a festive gathering with local traders and small businesses we’ve collaborated with throughout the year. Three course feasting tables, Gin tasting, Spaces are limited, so reach out soon to reserve your spot for this festive evening!
