Irwin Mitchell adds further strength to Real Estate team

Latest Appointment Continues Investment In Expanding Business Legal Services Team The Sheffield office of national law firm, Irwin Mitchell, has appointed real estate solicitor Kate McGoverne from Nabarro.

Kate, who has almost five years of post qualification experience in commercial property law, acts for both public and private sector clients. Her experience includes all areas of asset management work, with a particular emphasis in retail and both acquisitions and disposals of larger property portfolios. Commenting on her decision to join Irwin Mitchell's six-partner strong real estate team in Sheffield, Kate said: -Irwin Mitchell is clearly growing and there are very interesting opportunities and challenges here. I also wanted to be involved in the local market more and Irwin Mitchell is a strong leader with an unrivalled reputation. -Irwin Mitchell is an established operator in the business legal services market across Sheffield and it is ambitious for further growth. Its vision to be the legal firm of choice is an exciting one and I certainly look forward to supporting this aim and helping the business develop. Kate's appointment is the latest appointment to Irwin Mitchell's fast-growing business team in Sheffield. In the previous 12 months the firm has appointed senior deal-makers Andrea Cropley from Nabarro and Matt Ainsworth from DLA Piper. The firm has also hired Sheffield-based banking and finance specialist, Dean Gormley.
