Irwin Mitchell Sheffield to host spring employment seminar

4th March 2013

The Sheffield office of law firm Irwin Mitchell is hosting a free seminar and workshop on 12 March 2013 geared at helping organisations get up to speed with forthcoming employment and pensions law changes.

Areas that will be covered at the event include the new rules on unfair dismissal compensation, advice on preparing for mandatory pre-claim conciliation by ACAS and updates to changes on collective redundancy consultation. Liesel Whitfield, an employment law specialist at the Sheffield office of Irwin Mitchell said: -Employment and pensions law is going through a real upheaval. Employers are inundated with government consultations, reviews and draft legislation. It is difficult to plan ahead, particularly as many proposals are at various stages of development and others have quietly been dropped. This seminar aims to provide greater clarity and provide attendees with a valuable opportunity to network and ask questions. The seminar takes place on 12 March 2013 at Riverside East, 2 Millsands from 8am to 11am.  Drinks and a light breakfast will be available.
