Irwin Mitchell Welcomes Record Intake of Traniee Solicitors

National law firm showcases commitment to developing talent National law firm Irwin Mitchell has reiterated its commitment to developing the next generation of legal talent after welcoming its highest ever intake of trainee solicitors to the firm.
A total of 55 trainee solicitors have commenced their induction with the firm, ahead of starting their seats with either the firm's personal and business legal services teams in 9 offices across the country in September. Thirteen of the new recruits will be based at the firm's Sheffield office, while six will be based at the firm's Leeds office. As well as acquiring key legal skills and experience during their seats, the trainees will also undertake the Professional Skills Courses in key areas of advocacy and communication, finance and business skills, as well asclient care and professional standards. This year's record intake marks a 37.5 per cent increase on the intake 12 months ago and is further recognition of the firm's high-quality, award-winning trainee solicitor programme operated and managed by its graduate recruitment team. It also marks further growth and development for Irwin Mitchell, after the recent opening of a new consulting office in Middlesbrough followed new regional offices in Cambridge and Southampton last year taking its number of locations in England to ten. Irwin Mitchell Scotland also has a base in Glasgow.
