JE James Cycle Fest 15

JE James Cycles and the Norfolk Arms Ringinglow will be hosting the JE James Cycle Fest 2015.

It's going to be a weekend crammed full of cycling goodness and the Je James Cycle Fest has something for everyone. Come and demo a new bike from the big manufacturers. Take part in the 'Cycle Fest Friendly' low mileage sportive or have a go at the 'Challenger' sportive, 80 miles and 7,000ft of climbing on the Sunday, not entered already? There will be entries available on the day for both distances. Staff will be there to talk about all things cycling, from maintenance to keep your bike running smoothly to riding tips and advice to help keep you cycling smoothly (and quicker). Adam Simmonite, Marketing and PR for JE James said -Cycle Fest is going to be a great chance for cycling enthusiasts to demo some amazing road and mountain bikes as well as having the chance to ride on some great trails and routes in the Peak District. The Cycle Fest Mountain Bike demo loop will be led by JE James ride leaders, who can answer any questions you have about the bikes and also to give newer riders advice on riding off road. There's going to be the chance to get competitive too with the JE James Roller racing challenge, can you beat the 11 second store record over 250m. We are particualry proud of the new Cycle Fest Challenger 80mile Sportive route, taking in some classic Peak District climbs including Winnats Pass and Curbar Gap and some amazing scenery on the way. The huge 160+ demo bike fleet will showcase bikes from suppliers such as Specialized, Giant, Trek, Orange, Cube, Whyte, GT and Kona. This year Dawes Cycles will also be attending showing their Academy range of performance bikes for children. Cycle Fest also welcomes the largest demo fleet of 'E-Bikes' from Hai Bikes, a great opportunity to come and try out one of these bikes and see what electric bikes are all about. The Je James Cycle Fest is all about getting involved and all demo rides are free, all riders need to bring is a helmet, some photo ID (passport or driving license) and a valid debit/ credit card. Then demo up to 4 bikes per day. Je James Cycles have been a Sheffield based family business for over 50 years and, blessed with some top quality riding on their doorstep, including exciting off road routes to inspire all abilities or road rides taking in some amazing peak district views. One third of the City of Sheffield lies within the Peak District National Park and JE James are proud to be running Cycle Fest for its second year in 2015. Cycle Fest will showcase some of the great the Peak District riding both on road and off road. Plus visitors will get the opportunity to meet riders from the JE James Cycles sponsored Andy Moore Road Racing team and find out their inspiring story so far. There will also be the chance to take a quick spin with them and pick up some race winning tips on the way. So whether its demoing your dream bike, ruling the rocks of 'Jumbles Descent' or conquering the Grindleford climb on the Sportive, having a great time riding up through Endcliffe park to Ringinglow with the family, the stunning views of the Cyclef est Sportive routes or just relaxing at the Cycle Fest Hub JE James look forward to welcoming visitors to this years JE James Cycle fest.
