JEJames Cycles Nominated for 5 Industry Awards

3rd September 2015

Sheffield based cycle retailer JEJames Cycles are leading the peloton at this years 'Bike Biz' industry awards with 5 nominations, including, Best Specialist Retailer, Workshop Services, Retail Event, In-Store Experience and Marketing Team.

JEJames Partner, Mark James said -JEJames have been nominated for Bike Biz awards in the past but just in one category, the fact that JEJames have been nominated for 5 this year is a reflection on the growing aspirations of the business and also the hard work we have been putting in over the last 18 months. There are some big players and importers and suppliers in the categories JEJames have been nominated in. Major projects have including store refits and refurbishments, reviewing workshop workflows and working more closely with our suppliers, by installing in-store manufacturer 'Experience Areas' to add to the customer experience. We are proud of the results and to have these recognised by by our cycle industry peers and to be the most nominated business is a good indication that all the handwork is paying off. We are also seeing our own BikeWorx cycle to work scheme pick up, we have had a lot of interest from local SME's keen to take advantage of the savings and associated health benefits for their employees. The local retailer is still a family run business and has been a part of the cycling landscape for over 50 years. With 3 bricks and mortar stores (Sheffield, Rotherham and Chesterfield) associated warehousing and an e-commerce site its no wonder JEJames is the UK's largest independent cycle retailer. JEJames also hold an annual 'CycleFest' demo weekend from the Norfolk Arms, Ringinglow that showcases new bike ranges and also the amazing riding in the local area. Always busy and moving up a gear it looks like this is one local company that will not be resting on their laurels.
