John Holland highly commended at prestigious industry awards

19th July 2017

Sheffield's leading prestige car dealership has been highly commended at a major national awards ceremony.

John Holland, based on Meadowhall Road in Sheffield, was highly commended in the Used Car Independent Retailer of the Year category at the national 2017 Motor Trader Industry Awards, held at Grosvenor House Hotel in London's West End. The leading South Yorkshire dealership fought off stiff competition to make the category's initial shortlist of five independent dealers, before being named as highly commended by a full panel of judges at a glittering gala dinner. The award was presented by the legendary Sterling Moss. The awards feature more than 20 categories, with the Used Car Retailer of the Year Award in its 15th year and open to all independent and franchised dealerships retailing cars to the public. John Holland's success comes two years after the dealership was recognised as highly commended in the Used Car of the Year Award at the 2015 Motor Trader Industry Awards. Managing director Mark Holland said: -We're thrilled to be highly commended for the second time in three years. Recognition such as this emphasises that we do things the right way at John Holland and we will continue to stay true to our values of providing the best possible service for our customers. Curtis Hutchinson, editor of Motor Trader, said: -Congratulations to John Holland on being highly commended for this award. There was some tough competition in this category so this achievement is further confirmation of their position in the industry.
