John joins Stagecoach Yorkshire team

Leading bus operator Stagecoach Yorkshire has appointed John Young as its new acting commercial director.

John, who has worked for Stagecoach for almost 35 years, joins from Stagecoach Manchester where he held the position of network manager.   Birkenhead-born John will be based at Stagecoach Yorkshire's headquarters at Eldon Arcade in Barnsley.   He takes over from Rupert Cox who has moved to the company's Gloucester operation.   Stagecoach operates an extensive network of local bus services in South and West Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, which carry 48 million passengers every year.
