KAT Communications -KAT in the Community Project

The 1863 Charity Fashion show is being sponsored as part of their KAT in the Community project that has raised thousands of pounds in the last 3 years in its quest to create awareness and funds for local causes and people.

The 1863 Charity Fashion Show is taking place 4th April 2013 to raise funds for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and the event will showcase the latest fashion at The Corn Exchange in Leeds. Anthony Temperton, Managing Director commented -We are delighted to be have been asked to be involved in such an important event, and to be involved with such a worthwhile cause. Elena Dransfield is holding the event in the memory of her father, Michael Wayne Dransfield, who sadly died of acute myeloid leukaemia in July 2012. You can read more about Elena's story in this interesting blog about student fundraising in the North. Local stores from The Corn Exchange and around Leeds will be flaunting their designs on the catwalk for all to see. Doors will open at 7pm where guests will be greated with a complimentary glass of alcohol (over 18′s only). The show will start at 7.30pm and live entertainment will be presented throughout. There will be a bar open atPrimo's on the night where a range of wines, bottled beers and signature cocktails will be sold throughout the evening, and soft drinks will also be available. A raffle will be held after the show and there are some fantastic prizes to be won, including a Mulberry Oversized Alexa Bag, a Reiss Gift Card, a Radley Bag, a Benefit Make Up Setand many more! Tickets for the show cost £10 and can be purchased online. There are also a limited number of VIP tickets available, at a cost of £15, which includes a reserved seat at the show and a goodie bag. Please note that there will only be 200 seats, therefore over spill will have to remain standing throughout the fashion show.
