Keebles clinches 15 shortlistings in Sheffield City Region Dealmakers’ Awards

Leading Yorkshire law firm Keebles LLP has swept the nominations board in the Sheffield City Region Dealmakers’ Awards with an impressive 15 shortlistings.

The nominations across seven categories include Corporate Law Firm of the Year - a prestigious title which the firm scooped in 2017, 2018 and then retained in 2019.

Keebles acted in two out of five deals selected for Deal of the Year (up to £2.5m) - the management buyout of Industrial Personnel Group and the acquisition of Caldo Oils by Aztec Oils.

The firm has also been shortlisted three times for Mid-Market Deal of the Year (between £2.5m and £10m) for the management buyout of Nationwide Stainless, the acquisition of Doncasters Precision Forgings and the management buyout of Leengate Valves.

Also nominated four times for Deal of the Year (exceeding £10m) accolade, Keebles have been shortlisted for the acquisition of SCX Special Projects by Elysian Capital, the acquisition of Harvest Healthcare by Prism Medical, the management buyout of Advanced Alloy Services and the acquisition of BresMed Health by Arsenal Capital Partners.

Keebles have also been nominated twice for National/International Deal of the Year for both the acquisition of Haz Environmental by Red Industries and the acquisition of Linetime by PracticeEvolve.

Matt Ainsworth, who heads the firm’s Corporate Department, is in the running for Dealmaker of the Year with Senior Associate James Burdekin and Associate Laura Giles in the final line up of Emerging Dealmaker of the Year.

The award winners are set to be announced on September 3 at the Mercure St Paul's Hotel in Sheffield.
