The Yorkshire team was responsible for more than 65% of the total of industrial disposal transactions over 100,000 sq. ft in the region for 2014. Key deals for the team, headed up by Knight Frank partner Rebecca Schofield, included 412,000 sq ft in Sheffield, 108,000 sq ft at Manton Wood in Worksop; and 109,000 sq ft at Brightside Lane, Sheffield, South Yorkshire continues to be the prime location for industrial and warehouse occupiers with deals completing across Sheffield, Rotherham, Chesterfield, Barnsley, Doncaster and Worksop. Rebecca Schofield said: "Knight Frank's award winning industrial team covers Yorkshire in its entirety. "This award is a real coup for the Yorkshire team and testament to its hard work and coverage of the region through presence in both Sheffield and Leeds. We pride ourselves in knowing our market, and its various sectors, inside out and because of this, we are able to respond quickly and knowledgeably to enquiries and opportunities." The Leeds office saw significant deals completed including 205,000 sq ft at Bretton Park in Dewsbury, 105,000 sq ft at Leeds West, 130,000 sq ft at Millshaw Park in Leeds and 135,000 sq ft at Shipton, near York. The Leeds office covers all West Yorkshire locations such as Elland, Huddersfield, Brighouse and Castleford through to East Riding and North Lincolnshire locations like Goole, Hull and Grimsby. Knight Frank also services North Yorkshire and Teeside locations along the A1(M) corridor. Nicholas Prescott, associate from the Leeds office added: "The collaboration between Sheffield and Leeds has resulted in outstanding client service. This combination delivers a more concentrated depth of knowledge across the region and working together maximises our exposure in the market place. It's a compelling sell to our client base as they effectively get two offices for the price of one."
