Knowhow team know how to support a great cause

27th February 2018

SHEFFIELD contact centre Knowhow has made a £1,000 donation to St Luke's Hospice.

Staff at the company which provides support services for Currys PC World, Dixons Travel and Carphone Warehouse were given the opportunity to vote for a local charity to receive a special cash gift and they selected Sheffield's only hospice. St Luke's Corporate Fundraising Manager Jack Kidder visited to company to receive the £1,000 donation from Centre Manager Jason Roberts, who commented: "Out of all the local and national charities we support, St Luke's has continued to remain one of the most popular charities amongst our colleagues. -This is hardly surprising as St Luke's are fantastic and work incredibly hard to improve the standard of life for patients and their families in time of need. -It is a great pleasure to be able to help support your work and hope that this donation will make a small difference to the care you can provide St Luke's Corporate Fundraising Manager Jack Kidder said: -We are so pleased that the Knowhow team understood the importance of the work St Luke's does for all the people of Sheffield. -We need to raise £6.3 million annually to maintain our current levels of service so this level of support means a great deal to our patients and their families.
