Last Chance to Get Free Digital Direction Support

20th May 2014

Digital Direction, a Creative Sheffield initiative to help businesses expand using technology, has been so successful that it has gained an extension.

Work will continue until the end of June and there is funding available for up to eight more businesses to benefit. Digital Direction offers an initial assessment from a specialist IT business advisor then up to four days of funded consultancy support from an IT expert. The consultant works with the business to help define business needs, review options, select solutions and work out how to use them. The scheme has already helped over 30 businesses since January of this year. Overall since 2012, Digital Direction has helped more than 150 small businesses in Sheffield to identify and implement cost-effective IT solutions to reach new markets and operate more efficiently. Digital Direction helped Carbon Moto, a supplier of carbon fibre parts for high-end motorcycles such as Ducati, to hit top ranks on Google and take their online retail business to a new level. Owner manager Tony Garnham-Parks comments, -Digital Direction has worked wonders for us. It was very easy. A couple of meetings and a few conversations; there was very little for us to do. If someone asked me whether to try Digital Direction, I'd say do it. If you gained half of what we did you'd be doing really well. It's probably the best thing we've ever done. To be eligible for support, businesses should have been trading for over a year and be paying Sheffield rates either business or residential. To find out how to apply, visit the website at: http://www.digital-direction.biz/assessment/apply. Or call 0800 043 5522 and ask for advice on Digital Direction. Please apply now as there are just eight places available and applications close 31st May.
