Lawyer Gets on his Bike for Dobbies Anniversary Ride

Irwin Mitchell Real Estate Specialist Joins Retailer For Charity Challenge A specialist real estate lawyer at Irwin Mitchell's Sheffield office has got on his bike to help retailer Dobbies Garden Centres celebrate its 150th anniversary, while also raising vital funds for charity.

David Goy, an associate solicitor at Irwin Mitchell, joined staff from Dobbies on June 18th for the 114-mile Chesterfield to Northallerton leg of its mammoth 2,000-mile charity bike challenge running across the UK. Starting in Edinburgh on June 8th, the event has seen relay teams travel to each of Dobbies' 35 stores with the intention of travelling back to the store in Edinburgh by June 20th. The event is to raise money for 21 local and national charities, including the company's property team charity partner The Wildlife Trust. Irwin Mitchell has enjoyed a long relationship with Dobbies Garden Centres, with its specialist Real Estate team providing support to the retailer on a range of its key property deals. David Goy of Irwin Mitchell said: -Dobbies' 150th anniversary is a great testament to the strength and heritage of the business. While the 114-mile ride was undoubtedly tough, we are delighted to have lent a hand to their celebrations and raised vital funds for charity in the process. -Irwin Mitchell is very proud to have a long-term relationship with Dobbies and we hope we can continue to help them develop for many years to come.
