Leading Recruitment Company Lands High Profile Signing

Forde Recruitment, the leading Sheffield/Yorkshire/UK employment group, has made a high profile signing of its own.

Joining as non-executive director is Jonathan Wright one of the most experienced deal makers in the sector who for 10 years was Chief Executive of the Alexander Mann Group working with Dragon's Den star James Caan to develop a broad base of recruitment businesses. It is a major coup for Forde, the Sheffield City Centre based recruitment business which is looking to strategically expand around its core areas of transport and distribution, engineering and manufacturing, sales, medical, waste management and education. Recognised as one of Yorkshire's busiest independent staffing agencies, Forde recently acquired a Glasgow-based driving recruitment business which now operates as Forde Advanced Driving Solutions. Managing director Paul Forde, who established the business in 1991, said: -This is an exciting and significant step forward for Forde. In discussions with Jonathan we quickly recognised that he would bring enormous amounts of experience in the recruitment and staffing sectors. As a non-executive director he will support our team to deliver exciting and strategic development plans for the company. Jonathan, will be working with Operations Director Amanda Walker and Finance Director Claire McIlwaine. He said: -I am delighted to be joining the board of Forde Recruitment, Paul and his team have done a great job in bringing the firm successfully through the recent recession and with the UK now generating record levels of jobs across Forde's key areas the business is well placed to deliver exciting growth. -We will be looking to build on the outstanding track record of client service that Forde have developed over the past two decades and to leverage the forms ability to attract the outstanding talent that we will need to achieve our growth plans."
