The programme includes: 9.30 Terms and Conditions Masterclass Developed specifically for manufacturing organisations, this session will highlight the key terms that should be included in sale and purchase conditions and give guidance on how your terms and conditions can be enforced. 10.20 A Practical Guide to International Trade Setting out the fundamental aspects of successful international trade including administration procedures and a review of the key aspects of export documentation. 11.20 The role of a Notary Public in International Trade Businesses trading internationally often require the services of a notary public. This session will explain the basis of notarial work, when and why it is required and steps that can be taken to speed up the process. 12.10 Lunch 13.00 HR for the Board A look at the role and responsibilities of the board relating to HR matters with advice on managing difficult employment situations such as high level terminations, restructuring and redundancy. 13.50 Health and Safety Compliance Explaining the obligations and responsibilities of the board in relation to health and safety regulatory compliance, the liabilities involved and how the risks can be minimised. 14.50 Tariffs, tax and finance An update on tariffs, tax credits and funding available to manufacturing businesses and how it can be obtained. 15.45 Close If you are interested in attending all or any of these workshops then please email cath.davies@hilldickinson.com by Thursday 10th May.
