Loadhog Wins Gold for Sustainable Packaging Initiative of the Year at Environmental Packaging Awards 2025

Loadhog has proudly been awarded Gold in the Sustainable Packaging Initiative of the Year category at the Environmental Packaging Awards 2025, recognising its outstanding leadership in sustainable packaging innovation.

At the heart of Loadhog’s success is its Vision 2030 strategy. A comprehensive roadmap to achieving Net Zero, underpinned by durable, reusable packaging designed to eliminate single-use waste. From installing solar panels and adopting carbon-saving measures to using a minimum of 30 recycled content in all products, Loadhog is transforming the packaging industry one solution at a time.

Judges praised Loadhog for its clear communication of environmental goals, employee empowerment, and its strong year-on-year data, including a 15.7 reduction in carbon emissions since 2021. Initiatives such as swap-out schemes, alignment with the UK Plastic Tax, and Operation Clean Sweep further demonstrate its circular economy commitment.

Isobel Green said,  “This award recognises the dedication of our employee owners, who are driving real change through smarter packaging. By prioritising responsible material choices, reducing emissions, and optimising transportation, we aim to set the standard for environmentally conscious manufacturing and lead the way in building a sustainable future.”
