Local businesses support Wheelchair Basketball championship winning team

Local businesses, Hart Shaw Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers, Russell Ulyatt Financial Services and Sureguard Energy Services Ltd have provided sponsorship support to local Wheelchair Basketball star Joe Williams.

Joe was part ofSt Paul's Cathedral special service, Courage & Faith, which celebrated the Paralympic Games prior to the start of the games. Joe has been busy over the last few months playing 1st 3rd and Super League Basketball for the Sheffield Steelers. The team became 3rd division champions by winning their league with Joe as the top scorer. Joe has been training really hard and had the fantastic opportunity of being taken to Milan with the Super League team to play in the European challenge cup in which they were also victorious. Joe's wheelchair is sponsored by Hart Shaw and proudly displays the firms' logo. Martin McDonagh, Partner at Hart Shaw comments: -We are very proud of what Joe has achieved over the past few months.
