Louise Lane, Botanical Artist Exhibition

'FLORA' is a new collection of paintings and drawings, the artwork exquisitely depicts the beauty and transience of plant life around Sheffield throughout the year.

The new collection will be exhibited at Hector's House, JG Graves Woodland Discovery Centre, Abbey Lane, Sheffield S7 2QZ Louise grew up in the Peak District with an everlasting passion for drawing, painting and outdoor life. Her skilful observational drawing is enhanced by a keen eye for the structure and colour of plants. She currently lives and works as a professional botanical artist in Sheffield. With two gold medals and a best in show already under her belt, Lou is now working towards a third collection of work to exhibit at the RHS Botanical Art Show in 2019. This event brings together work from the top international botanical artists worldwide, many of them also gold medallists. Additionally, Louise has been commissioned to teach a -master class of pencil and water-colour at June's botanical art show in the RHS halls in London.
