Magna announce Eagle Platforms as new Corporate Sponsor

Magna Science Adventure Centre is thrilled to announce Eagle Platforms as their new Corporate Sponsor.
The Anston based company is a leading national supplier of access platforms. Opened in 2001 Magna is a totally self-funded charity with a mission to educate future generations about our local steel heritage through science and engineering. All proceeds raised through the visitor attraction and events such as Magna Mayhem, Oktoberfest and EAT BUMP GROOVE Christmas Party Nights as well as the hire of their award-winning conference and event space, all fund the daily running of the Science Adventure Centre. The alliance between the two organisations is part of Magna's ongoing relationship with the South Yorkshire community. Employing 30 full time staff Eagle Platforms Ltd has a varied customer base from construction and refurbishment, to shopping malls, steel work and even television work including the BBC hit Open All Hours with Sir David Jason. Eagle Platforms, started by Chairman and CEO Jim Haigh in 1988, has become renowned in the industry for their excellent customer care and highest possible safety standards. Jim Haigh said of becoming a Corporate Sponsor, -Magna plays a critical role in teaching science and engineering to young people in an innovative and creative way. The first collaboration sees Eagle Platforms as headline sponsors of the forthcoming Soccer Saturday charity event on 22 June at Magna. The fundraising night will see football legends Paul Merson, Matt Le Tissier and Phil Thompson live on stage at Magna recreating their unique brand of inter-panel banter, hysterics and in-depth ex-player insight.
