Magna gears up to eat, bump and groove
8th November 2016
Magna is preparing for things to go bump in the night as it gears up to host its first Christmas parties of the season next month.
The Rotherham-based visitor attraction is holding its first 'Eat, Bump, Groove' event of 2016 on 2nd December with dodgems, a disco and casino games. The parties, which have been running since 2010 and attract businesses from across South Yorkshire, will continue twice a week until 22nd December. John Silker, chief executive at Magna, said: -We've welcomed over 30,000 people to these events so far and each year they just get better and better. Everyone enjoys a good knees-up at Christmas and with our bumper cars, all-inclusive bar and blackjack and roulette tables, we're proud to offer something a bit different to the average work festive 'do. A three-course meal, unlimited drinks, dodgems and a DJ are all included in the party price of £79.95 per person. Although some nights have already sold out, there is still some availability on 2nd, 3rd, 16th, 17th and 22nd December. Magna, which is housed in the former Templeborough steel works near junction 34 of the M1, also has venue space that can be hired to cater for between 5 and 5,000 people. As well as hosting parties and events, Magna is an award-winning visitor attraction with more than 100 hands-on exhibits which explore the four elements of air, water, earth and fire.
