MAGNA scoops Best Unusual Event Space Award

5th June 2018

MAGNA has scooped the Best Unusual Event Space Award in the CHS Awards 2018 - held at the Principal Manchester on Thursday 31st May 2018.

The CHS Awards provide hotels and venues with a unique opportunity to showcase their facilities - allowing even the smallest independent venue to be recognised for an aspect, service or feature of their property or service. The Awards are judged by an independent panel of over 50 event professionals from leading agencies throughout the UK. Emma Pritchard MAGNA Marketing Manager said: -We are delighted to win such a prestigious award for Best Unusual Event Space. We have all the high quality attributes expected of a modern conference centre blended with a quirkiness and breath-taking edginess that we feel is rare and very special. We will wear our CHS Award as a badge of honour, testament to the amazing hard work of the entire MAGNA team. MAGNA was also shortlisted for a CHS Award for Best Launch Event for their work with Kia Motors in October 2017 to launch their brand new Stonic car range. More than 230 hotel/venues/event suppliers entered the fourth annual CHS Awards which were preceded by a glittering gala dinner. The Awards are organised by CHS Group who deliver the annual Conference and Hospitality Show in Leeds and the nominations for this year were announced at the Show in April. The judging panel consisted of over 50 agency event professionals, with Samme Allen from Sequoia Venue Solutions as Chair. MAGNA boasts 4,000m2 of pure event space located in the heart of the UK close to both Sheffield and Rotherham. Perfect for big and small events; a meeting for 30, dinner or conference for 400 or exclusive hire for 5,000. With 400 free car parking spaces, dedicated events team, on-site catering and in-house AV and exhibition services. There's even in-house team building activities including a giant 25m long inflatable bootcamp, 40m high indoor bungee and life-size diggers. For more information go to www.mymagnaevent.co.uk
