FourJaw, the Sheffield-based manufacturing analytics tech start-up has seen rapid growth over the last 12 months, with demand for its Industry 4.0 machine monitoring software coming from around the world including Europe, the Middle East, and the Southern Hemisphere.

Dubbed a ‘fitness tracker for manufacturers’, the affordable and user-friendly machine monitoring platform enables manufacturers of all sizes to increase productivity and profitability by delivering valuable data insight on machine utilisation and energy.

Founded in 2020, the Sheffield headquartered SaaS business has seen impressive growth over the last 12 months, doubling its employee headcount, more than doubling its customer base and has seen revenue increase by more than 260 in the first quarter of 2023.

Initially focused on the UK mid-size manufacturing sector, FourJaw’s platform has organically gained traction with manufacturers across various sectors and this year alone has attracted customers from Norway, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Saudi Arabia, and New Zealand, including one of the world's largest food manufacturers.

FourJaw’s manufacturing analytics platform harnesses Industry 4.0 technology enabling it to be a simple plug-and-play setup that does not require any special installation, making it accessible to manufacturers worldwide.

Chris Iveson, Founder and CEO of FourJaw said, “We are delighted that our geographic reach has increased as more and more manufacturers are seeing the benefits of using our technology. We launched our product to market just two years ago to enable manufacturers maximise their productivity and it is rewarding to see that happening so quickly here in the UK and overseas.”

To support its rapid growth, FourJaw is continuing to innovate. The company issued two major product updates at the start of 2023 to strengthen its product offering. Real-time Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) functionality was added -  known as the gold standard for measuring productivity to improve manufacturing processes.  Thanks to the latest innovations, FourJaw can deliver real-time OEE metrics on all factory machines regardless of their age, type or brand.

Further functionality was added enabling manufacturers to monitor energy consumption and understand their carbon footprint. This insight allows manufacturers to better manage their energy usage and carbon footprint, helping them to navigate the current inflationary pressures and support their sustainability initiatives.

Looking ahead, FourJaw’s product roadmap looks set to harness the emergence of Artificial Intelligence, (AI), bringing even greater value to the data in day-to-day operations.

Growth hasn’t just been restricted to new territories and updated platform features. The last 12 months have seen enquiries triple and the team double in size as new faces join the Sales, Customer Success and Marketing departments, including senior hires to develop the leadership team.

Chris commented, “We are now closing in on having 100 customers and have seen a 260 growth in revenue in the last quarter alone. With enquiries coming in from all over the world, we need to ensure that we are geared up to service new and existing customers as well as continue to develop our offering to stay ahead, leading us to our next phase of growth as we look to explore other international territories as well as continue to support manufacturers in the UK.”
