Manufacturing Skills for the Future Conference

Hill Dickinson is hosting 'Manufacturing skills for the future', a conference at the AMP Technology Centre on Tuesday 8 May 2012, featuring keynote speaker David Blunkett MP.

Th is event is free of charge. In order to lift the UK economy, the Government wants to educate a workforce which can offer the necessary range and levels of skill to enable manufacturing, engineering and technology, large and small, to recruit - rebalancing the economy by extending manufacturing capacity and increasing exports. Join this essential conference, which will bring the Education, Manufacturing, Engineering and Technology sectors together to explore ways in which these sectors can support each other in rebalancing the economy; helping to drive exports. As well as keynote speaker, David Blunkett MP, the conferemce will also hear from key educators and local business leaders including The Master Cutler Pam Liversidge, and Andrew Cropley of Norton College.
