Maximising the Match New facilities for Weston Park Hospital !!

6th September 2012

To support the investments to support new and much needed facilities at Weston Park Hospital , Westfield Health have generously agreed to match any funds raised privately by the hospital up to a maximum of £250,000.

Sheffield Chamber is already working with Weston Park on a fund raising event called -Funny Business where 10 intrepid business -volunteers from the city have agreed to move out of their comfort zones and do a 10minute stand up comedy routine at the City Hall on 29th November.   It is unlikely however that this will raise the £250,000 on its own! We need everybody's help so could we please invite you to a meeting at the offices of DLA on the evening of 24th October 2012 at ? where the plans for the investment and other ways in which you can get involved will be explained.   Weston Park is one of the leading cancer care hospitals in the country and a leader in research and development around the subject. These facilities are critical to its future and to maintaining Sheffield 's place at the centre of this subject. We would very much like you to attend. If you can please send an e-mail to and we will register your attendance and send any more details as they arise.
