6th April 2016

Tristan Cowell, MD of local business IC Innovations was invited to 10 Downing Street to meet with the Prime Minister's head of Business Engagement, Niamh Mulholland.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss various important topics such as the business support companies would need to rapidly scale up, the cost of recruiting more staff, the high speed rail and the northern powerhouse. The agenda also included exporting and celebrating what is great about Britain! The key points of the meeting were then going to be communicated back to both the Prime Minister David Cameron and The Chancellor. Tristan commented "To be invited to Number 10 Downing Street and walk through the famous door to discuss high level business policy was a true honour. The 2 hours inside were both fascinating and memorable, and hopefully the ideas I had discussed will have been constructive towards both the government and the UK's long term aims. "
