Mercia Learning Trust Launch Charity Art Exhibition 'Young Creatives'

16th September 2024

Mercia Learning Trust are celebrating the fantastic talents of the students within their secondary schools, by launching their inaugural 'Young Creatives' art exhibition.

Mercia Learning Trust have partnered with the Mercure Sheffield St Paul's Hotel to transform their beautiful central space into a light and airy gallery showcasing around 45 unique pieces of art and photography created by young people from King Ecgbert School, Newfield Secondary School and Mercial School.

Young Creatives celebrates local culture, landscape and architecture, championing the outstanding work of students and brings arts in education to the centre of Sheffield.

All the artwork will be available for sale via a bidding link (which will go live on the 11th), and proceeds will go to The Children's Hospital Charity which touches the lives of so many families in the city.

The work will be on display between Friday October 11th and Sunday October 13th and to start proceeding off,  Mercia Learning Trust's head of development & engagement Abi Merritt is inviting representatives of local businesses and organisation to pop along to the Mercure Sheffield St Pauls and join her at a breakfast networking event starting at 09.00 on the 11th.

This is free to attend and will be a great opportunity to meet with others from the business community and of course  to bid on some unique artwork for your office or boardroom.

There's no need to book for the networking, just pop in and take a look around
