10th February 2015
A national award-winning telecommunications provider will be showing a Doncaster MP just how it provides a great service, saves customers money and boosts the borough's economy.
Rosie Winterton met staff at Origin Broadband at their head office in Doncaster on Friday February 6th. The firm was founded in 2011 by local students, Henri Wust and Oliver Bryssau and Origin was recently named Business of the Year at the British Chambers of Commerce Awards. Doncaster Central MP Rosie said: -It's fantastic that a business from Doncaster has been recognised for the great work it is doing. -Superfast broadband is an important tool for businesses and households, and better, easier access to it will help boost the economy here in Doncaster. Pete Lowes, Head of Operations at Origin Broadband, explains that the firm now offers the UK's cheapest line rental. He said: -It's great that there are forward-thinking politicians out there who appreciate the achievements of our young company - and our growth in a very difficult economic climate. We're not only working to give the people of South Yorkshire a great local service, but amazing value too." "Deals like our new Line Rental Super Saver are helping customers cut their annual bills in half! As we continue our rapid growth, even better deals for the customer, and great employment opportunities to the wider region are set to continue."
