National award nomination for Sheffield car dealer

4th June 2015

A Sheffield-based prestige car dealer could bring its second national award back to the region after being nominated for another motoring industry award.

John Holland, based on Meadowhall Road, has been nominated in the Used Car Retailer of the Year category at the 2015 Motor Trader Industry Awards. The shortlisting follows the family-run firm's 2014/15 Dealer's Dealer of the Year award win at the Car Dealer Magazine Awards after nominations from dealers across the country. Mark Holland, business owner, said: -It is brilliant news for John Holland to be nominated for another national award so soon after our Dealer's Dealer of the Year Award win. I'm very proud of all the staff for this achievement. -Hopefully we can bring another national award back to Sheffield. To be recognised by two different awarding bodies as the nation's best car dealer would be a fantastic achievement. Following a judge's visit, findings will be reported back to the full panel of judges before all award winners are announced at the Motor Trader Awards gala dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London's West End on Wednesday July 8. The awards feature over 20 categories which celebrate best practice in the car retailing business. Curtis Hutchinson, editor of Motor Trader, said: -Competition for the Motor Trader Awards is always fierce, so it is a great achievement for any car dealer to be nominated. -The Used Car Retailer of the Year Award looks for a dealer which is professionally managed, profitable and can show evidence of increasing stock turnover by sourcing vehicles best suited to their customers' needs. -I'd like to wish the best of luck to all shortlisted firms.
