Naylor Industries Family Day

28th August 2024

The Naylor Sports & Social Club recently hosted a fantastic family day on 28 July, which was a resounding success thanks to the incredible support of volunteers and local organisations.

A huge thank you goes out to all who contributed to the event, from those who tirelessly worked behind the scenes to those who entertained everyone on the day. Special mention goes to Abby for the delicious cupcakes, Karen, Alan, and Wendy for their invaluable assistance, before during and after the day!  Billy for organizing engaging football activities, and Ryan Davies for bringing along his motorbike, which proved to be a major hit with the children.

The event was further enhanced by the participation of external organisations including Barnsley Hospice, Shelley Hedgehog Rescue, Wise Owl Bird of Prey Rescue, and Pets as Therapy. A special thanks also goes to Craig Finlay for providing delicious food and Aaron Bramley for his great singing – helping create a great atmosphere.  Finally, Active Hire – Leeds – thank you for keeping the children entertained with the bouncy castle, hook a duck, and beat the bleep games.

Thanks to the generosity of attendees, the event raised valued funds for Shelley Hedgehog Rescue and Barnsley Hospice. These funds will make a significant difference to these vital organisations.
