Naylor Specialist Plastics take part in No Mow May

24th July 2023

Naylor Specialist Plastics – a division of Naylor Industries recently took part in the national No Mow May campaign at their site in Wombwell, Barnsley

The lawnmower was banished to liberate the area and encourage the growth of Spring wild flowers for No Mow May and after seeing lots of the lovely flowers coming into life, Naylor Specialist Plastics have continued the temporary suspended cutting of their grassed areas. "By letting the wildflowers grow we are helping pollinators such as honeybees, bumblebees and butterflies to name a few and it really has brought out some colourful flowers as you can see from the pictures:  so we decided to suspend cutting the grass in these areas for a little bit longer" commented John Grice - MD for the Naylor Specialist Plastics Division

Naylor are aiming to include more of their sites to take part in 2024 No Mow May - with 7 sites across the UK they are hoping to attract a varied and diverse range of flowers and wildlife.
