Opening this Autumn, the brand-new Courtyard by Marriott Sheffield invites guests to experience a modern and welcoming hotel stay just minutes from Sheffield city centre.

Located at the entrance to the city’s manufacturing hub, the Advanced Manufacturing Park, the hotel is within easy reach of top local attractions including Meadowhall Shopping Centre, Gulliver’s Valley Theme Park and Utilita Arena, ideal for leisure, business and family guests.

With 150-bedrooms including family rooms and dog-friendly options, Courtyard by Marriott Sheffield offers a warm welcome. Designed with a natural, calming palette of browns and greens, and featuring contemporary wood accents, rooms are all equipped with smart technology such as digital room key and eco-friendly air conditioning to ensure a seamless and comfortable stay. Meeting and event spaces inspired by Sheffield’s steel-making history also provide a perfect backdrop for business gatherings or social events.

At the heart of the hotel is Aspen Restaurant & Bar, inspired by the local community and named after the original meaning of Waverley: ‘a meadow of quivering aspens’. The restaurant serves up delicious dishes including a signature Philly cheesesteak, sweet potato and butternut squash tagine, and Sunday roasts in a stylish and relaxed setting, while Aspen Bar serves signature cocktails crafted and named to pay tribute to the city’s historic steel industry

Filipe Chaby-Rodrigues, the hotel’s new general manager, said: “We’re thrilled to soon be able to welcome guests to the Courtyard by Marriott Sheffield. Our team has been working hard behind the scenes to build connections with the local community, charity relationships and of course to create a welcoming, comfortable space where everyone – whether travelling for work, a weekend away or a family break – feels at home.”
