New Home for Growing Sheffield Lighting Specialist, Olmec/ Surelight

Sheffield's lighting specialist, Olmec Advanced Materials/Surelight, is expanding so much so that it is moving out of its premises in Millhouses to accommodate its growing team! Olmec/Surelight's new home, at Holbrook Industrial Estate, is a superb new 3 storey unit.

  It houses the company's offices, with fantastic, dedicated spaces (brilliantly lit of course!) for its management, sales, marketing and administration teams.  The impressive space also allows Olmec/Surelight to show off its fabulous, innovative lighting solutions in a brand new showroom. There is a brand new integrated workshop, where the company makes its lighting connections and custom lengths of LED and EL products,  and a large warehouse which allows Olmec/Surelight to maintain greater stock levels and offer speedy delivery in order to keep up with ever increasing demands. Design and marketing director, Ryan Heald says; -We have seen our company grow tremendously over the last few years, and have enjoyed our time at Millhouses.  We will of course miss the premises there, but we need to take on new staff to further our growth and offer better showroom facilities, and the constraints of the building there just won't allow it.   We wanted to keep our roots in Sheffield and chose the new unit because of its proximity to Sheffield centre, the M1/M18, and our staff's homes.  Some of them will even be adding to Olmec/Surelight's commitment to environmentally friendly solutions by cycling to work and car sharing. I am really proud to have overseen the project management and design of such a fantastic space; watching it change from an empty shell to a modern and luxurious LED lighting showroom, office suite and warehouse, which will allow us to offer more products from stock ideal for our trade and wholesale customers. The building has been bespokely designed to meet our needs, from the ground up, and we just can't wait to move in!
