New year, new challenge for David Toulcher!

Leading engineering and manufacturing training provider, Brinsworth Academy of Engineering recently have announced the appointment of David Toulcher to take up the newly created role of General Manager as they continue to improve their service delivery to employers following their growing presence in South Yorkshire.

David is an established engineer and work based learning expert having worked for over 15 years in the two sectors and also has a strong understanding of apprenticeship training following his work for a number of years in a similar role as Skills Training Manager at KITS (Kirkdale Industrial Training Services). Mick Crossley, Managing Director at Brinsworth Academy of Engineering said: -We congratulate David on his new position within the company. David will strategically work alongside the senior management team and the Directors to ensure that we maintain a solid reputation in South Yorkshire for delivering effective, pragmatic and professional engineering training services that meet the needs of local business. David, aged 53 from Huddersfield started his engineering life as a mechanical textile fitter and progressed into roles such as the Training Manager at the Textile Centre of Excellence and the Network Director for West Yorkshire Learning Partnership before starting his own business as a work based training provider.
