New Year, new member, and new heights to fly to

6th January 2023

Every business needs video marketing, but not every videography business has the same tools, like FPV drone. We can show your building or venue with some clever flying you can get some great angles that are impossible with other cameras and with 10 off!

I never used to say this when I worked for GlaxoSmithKline as a Communications Manager, but I do now.

It’s great to get back to work after the break.

In fact, my wife kept telling me not to get back on my computer to edit some nice Peak District footage or get back out in the maybe 1 or 2 fair weather days to fly my newest drone. I LOVE what I do!

So as a new Chamber member maybe I should tell you what I do…

I fly, I soar and loop the loop and twirl, I skim the treetops and fly between branches like a bird and it’s wonderful. Have a look at these videos I filmed in Autumn, just for practice, and you’ll see what I mean:

What does this mean for you and your business?

You need video for your business so you can stand out next to your competitors and video is getting cheaper and cheaper to produce. We all have smart phones now, right? And a piece directly to camera might be just what your customers need to know who you are and what you do.

What if it’s not enough? What if you want to show your venue or your manufacturing process? Well, that’s where a videography company can help you.

At Hovaloft we make videos with hand held cameras and drones, with editing and music added, but I’m going to talk about FPV drones and what that looks like.

An FPV drone is a racing drone with a camera stuck on the top. The FPV bit stands for “First Person View” and when I fly my FPV drones I wear goggles so I can see through the front of the drone as if I’m actually flying. You see why I like it now don’t you?

The FPV drone is an excellent tool to show off your building or venue, and with some clever flying you can get some great angles that are not possible with other cameras.

If you want a single take fly through like that, we will provide a 10 discount for chamber members to get your business “flying” in 2023.

So that’s a little section of what my company can do for you, I’ll write something more in the near future about my other types of drones, aerial photography, surveying and hand held videography.

I bet you can’t wait.
