Nobby the Polar Bear in his element during Artic Blast

24th January 2019

As the nation shivered under the sudden Arctic blast, Nobby the polar bear was in his element.

A frozen lake was just too tempting for the four year old who gleefully plunged into the chilly waters at the award winning Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Its Project Polar Reserve became a winter wonderland to the four polar bears who enjoy its ten acres of caves, lakes and rolling terrain. Nobby and his mates Nissan, Pixel and 14-year-old Victor got to grips with some logs as they frolicked in the big freeze. -They have been having a great time while everyone else was wrapping up warm' said Kim Wilkins, Carnivore Team Leader, of the park at Branton, near Doncaster. -Nobby just loved cracking through the ice." https://www.dropbox.com/sh/500bl35w49lyv39/AACZoIRxOpjhMVBQ4DcMlaT5a?dl=0
