Office Reality Renews and Expands Partnership With The SEO Works After Successful First Year

27th May 2025

Office Reality, an office and contract furniture provider based in Somerset, has signed on for a second year and added their sister company, Cafe Reality, after a successful year of SEO with The SEO Works, an award-winning digital agency.

Office Reality provides office furniture and design services to businesses looking to kit out their space. Their product offering includes anything from desks to hybrid working solutions, acoustics and storage.

Having taken a break from working with SEO companies, Office Reality saw their smaller competitors ranking higher and higher for their target search terms. So, just over a year ago, they reached out to The SEO Works. Office Reality was impressed by the agency's own high Google rankings, as well as their experience in the industry working on large ecommerce sites.

The first six months of the campaign saw steady improvements, but it was really the latter half of the first year that saw huge growth, reinforcing that SEO is a medium to long-term strategy, not a ‘quick fix’.

The account managers at The SEO Works have built a great working relationship with the team at Office Reality. After seeing the results they hoped for, they decided not just to enter a second year, but to bring on their sister company, Cafe Reality.

Cafe Reality offers its clients a similar service, except that instead of office furniture, it offers contract and hospitality furniture. This can include alfresco dining tables and chairs, canteen-style benches and comfortable leather sofas.

Angela Mee, Design and Marketing Director at Cafe Reality, wanted to see the expert SEO campaign for Office Reality similarly replicated on the Cafe Reality site. To ensure this happens, the same account managers will be working on both sites, which allows for the great relationship they have already built to be maintained.

After spending the first year optimising the technical SEO on Office Reality’s site, the team at The SEO Works will spend the second year focusing on building backlinks to increase site authority as the main priority.

Cafe Reality, however, already has a strong technical SEO foundation. So, the account managers can start with optimising the site content right away. While they currently rank well for brand and product terms, they would also like to rank for service terms. This will be achieved by targeting keywords such as ‘cafe remodel’ and ‘cafe redesigns’ to appeal to searchers looking for the whole package service.

The SEO Works will conduct in-depth keyword research and analyse the current search landscape around ‘cafe redesign’ to identify high-impact keywords. This will ensure their strategy targets the most relevant and competitive terms for maximum visibility and engagement.

Angela Mee said, “After a really positive first year working with The SEO Works, it's a pleasure to continue the relationship, and expand it to include our sister-company too! Appointing a new SEO agency is a big decision for any business, but they soon showed us that appointing them was the right one. I'm looking forward to seeing what the next year holds!"

Alex Hill, Sales Director at The SEO Works, said, “It’s always a privilege when a client not only renews, but brings on more sites - it’s a major testament to the account managers’ hard work! I’m excited to continue this partnership and see where we can take Cafe Reality as well.”

The SEO Works specialises in SEO, PPC, Digital PR, Web and Paid Social advertising and has many clients within the furniture sector, such as Wooden Furniture Store, Hunt Office and House of Oak.
