OneSource HR proudly sponsored the Strengthening Business Through People award at the Glass Focus Awards, won by NSG Group for their Women in the Workplace initiative. Discover how we’re driving change in technical sectors.

OneSource HR proudly sponsored the Strengthening Business Through People award at this year’s prestigious Glass Focus Awards, hosted by the British Glass Manufacturers Confederation. This award celebrates initiatives that prioritise people as the cornerstone of business success.

The 2024 award was presented ton winners NSG Group and Pilkington UK for their exceptional Women in the Workplace initiative, which is helping to create a more inclusive and diverse workforce within the glass sector.

Chloe Wallace, Managing Director of OneSource HR, commented, "sponsoring this award was a natural fit for us. At OneSource HR, we believe that people are the foundation of thriving businesses. The groups commitment to fostering gender diversity in a historically male-dominated industry is an inspiring example of how investing in people leads to long-term success."

OneSource HR has worked closely with the glass sector for the past five years, helping businesses address critical skills gaps through tailored HR strategies. The company specialises in building gender-diverse workforces to tackle occupational segregation, a key factor contributing to the skills shortages affecting many industries, including glass manufacturing.

Chloe continued, "we’re passionate about helping businesses tap into the full potential of their workforce. Gender diversity isn’t just the right thing to do—it’s essential for closing skills gaps and future-proofing industries like glass manufacturing."

The Glass Focus Awards once again highlighted the vital role of people-focused initiatives in driving innovation and sustainability across the sector.
