Part Funded Graduate Internships

A new innovative scheme launched by the University of Sheffield's Careers Service, with Santander, is set to help graduates and small businesses across the Sheffield.

Santander Internships are specially aimed at small and medium sized businesses in the region who are interested in recruiting a recent graduate from the University of Sheffield to work on a project based internship. Hosting a graduate intern is a great way for your organisation to benefit from the up to date skills and knowledge that a graduate can offer with the added incentive of funding to help you with the cost of employing the graduate! What does it involve? 3 month commitment to host a graduate in your organisation Providing a graduate level project Committing to match fund the salary of the intern Employing the graduate for the duration of the project What support would I receive? £1500 subsidy towards the interns wage Free advertising of the internship A graduate keen to gain valuable experience Timescale Santander Internships can commence any time from now onwards, the wage subsidy is available on a first come first serve basis and subject to your internship being approved by the University of Sheffield and Santander.
