Pressure Technologies Crowned Champions at Chamber Charity Golf Day

26th June 2017

Pressure Technologies were crowned winners at the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Westfield Health's inaugural Charity Golf Day on Monday 19th June.

Having supported each other for many years, 2017 saw Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Westfield Health team up to deliver a Charity Golf Tournament at Hillsborough Golf Club to raise vital funds for both organisations charities, Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice and Neurocare respectively. In the sweltering heat that topped 31 degrees, it was Pressure Technologies Matt Crampin and his partner Mark Allen who were crowned the winning pair, on an exhilarating day that saw some fantastic golf. One of the organisers of the event, Sheffield Chamber's Sam Christmas said, -The Chamber has been looking forward to our first Charity Golf Day for some time. I'd like to thank Westfield Health for approaching us to partner with them, as one of our Patrons and long-standing partners, we look forward to delivering this event on an annual basis. I'd also like to thank everyone who took part on the day, we had a fantastic mix of businesses represented and of course, our congratulations to the winning pair, Matt Crampin and Mark Allen. -Finally, I would like to thank Hillsborough Golf Club for hosting the event, the golf course was in excellent condition and it was a pleasure to play. The staff were extremely hospitable and we look forward to holding the event again next year. The President of Hillsborough Golf Club Dave Walker went on to say -I was delighted that Hillsborough Golf Club was able to host the inaugural Chamber of Commerce Golf event in association with Westfield Health.  I hope everyone enjoyed the fantastic golf course, refreshments and facilities that Hillsborough Golf Club offers and I look forward to welcoming many more Chamber of Commerce Members to Hillsborough Golf Club at future events or through our competitive and flexible membership, including "pay & play" offers. The intention is to make the event an annual occasion, we look forward to hosting even more golfers back to Hillsborough in 2018.
