Progression Accountancy moves to Electric Works in Sheffield

Progression Accountancy is moving its South Yorkshire base into Electric Works, a state-of-the-art office space for vibrant, creative, digital businesses.

The aim? To work more closely with businesses that desperately need an updated online approach to their accounting, finance and business needs. Nick Varley, who heads up the South Yorkshire base, lives in Dore in Sheffield, and specialises in providing proactive and timely advice, especially to startup and early stage businesses. He has also enjoyed various roles as a business mentor for a number of organisations. Nick brings extensive knowledge of business within the local area, having worked closely with businesses throughout Sheffield, Barnsley and the South Yorkshire area, for more than 35 years. He commented: "I'm extremely excited about the move to Electric Works, and having the opportunity to interact with entrepreneurs and business owners on a daily basis. Startups and early stage businesses are my passion, so I'm particularly pleased to be working alongside these local businesses, enabling them to have access to their real-time financial data on a 24/7 basis". Nick joined Progression Accountancy in June 2015 at a very exciting time for the business. It's Chesterfield base had moved into Tapton Park Innovation Centre in July last year, Financial Director and Financial Planning solutions had also been brought into the Progression mix, after building the platform in Matlock during 2014. Xero online accounting software is at the very heart of the Progression Accountancy offering. They work with clients in order to build a modern, agile business system that's integrated, easy to use and fun! Nick added: -I really enjoy meeting new people, and the unique communal environment within Electric Works works perfectly for me. I've had some really great conversations already, and we've not yet fully moved in!
