Pure Event Management

26th November 2013

Lucinda White is the owner of Pure Event Management, a consultancy and training business working with clients throughout the UK to write winning award entries, manage events and deliver fundraising strategies.

Her expert writing skills, organised approach and passion for presenting the best a company or individual has to offer has enabled Lucinda to achieve an excellent success rate of the awards she writes being shortlisted or won (local, regional and national) and an above average success rate of the awards she critiques progressing through to the next stage. Pure Event Management is one of the sponsors of the Sheffield Business Awards which has seen Lucinda provide workshops and a critique service to the applicants. On seeing the shortlist, Lucinda was delighted to find 100% of the entries she wrote for her clients and 63% of the entries she critiqued were on there which will make for a very exciting evening on 5th December! In January 2013, Pure Event Management launched a new training initiative to educate businesses and individuals in Business Awards, Events and Fundraising. With this Lucinda has visited Dorset, North West Lancashire and Barnsley and Rotherham Chambers, and held workshops in Chesterfield and Sheffield; working with over 200 people and 80 different businesses. Lucinda is proud to announce that last week, Pure Event Management was awarded 'Highly Recommended' for the training workshops in the 2013 Derbyshire Times Business Awards. Lucinda's fundraising and event projects have included managing the 2013 Chatsworth 10K for Helen's Trust, raising funds for Ant Kids Charity, organising many events at Whirlow Hall Farm Trust and organising a black tie gala evening with Victoria Wood and Sir Derek Jacobi for Sheffield Theatres. However, one of the most exciting projects Lucinda will be managing in 2014 will be the V.A.G Trophy and Mk2 Golf GTI Championship which attracts up to 56 cars on the grid over a race weekend at tracks across the country including Donnington GP, Silverstone GP and Brands Hatch GP. Look out for more information over the next few months, especially if you want to get involved as a competitor or sponsor.
