The University of Sheffield Careers & Employability Service is pleased to announce that nominations for the Inspiring Student Worker Awards 2025 are open!

Do you employ University of Sheffield students for part time work or short term internships? Perhaps you have employed our students to carry out a summer placement or vacation work over Summer/Christmas 2024?

Would you like the opportunity to tell them that they’ve done an excellent job?
Nominations are now invited for students who have made their mark in the following categories:

Significant Contribution Award
Leadership Award
Innovation and Problem solving Award
Team Award

Employers can be nominated by their student worker/s in the Employer category. 
Students can nominate or be nominated as follows:

Have to be a registered student for the academic year 2024/25.
The work must have taken place between 1st July 2024 and 23rd March 2025  and be a part-time job, short term internship, vacation work or summer placement with a minimum duration of 50 hours for individuals  (for the team category this is 100 hours combined where the students have worked as a team in the particular role).

On the 12th May we plan to hold an evening of celebration for nominees and nominators where we will announce the winners of each category and present the prizes.
