Record Breaking January for Sheffield Chamber

Sheffield Chamber of Commerce is delighted to report a record-breaking start to 2019! In January Sheffield Chamber of Commerce has seen 4 new members join their Patronage level of membership.

This increases their overall Patron members to 13, the highest level on record since the Chambers Patronage offer commenced. Sheffield Chamber also report January 2019 as their best performing month in terms of new members, with 25 businesses joining membership at various levels. This exceeds all monthly performances since the launch of the Chambers service-based structure back in October 2016. In addition, the Chamber has seen 9 members upgrade their membership level to access additional benefits for the forthcoming year, demonstrating the flexibility the Chamber can now offer. The Chambers service-based membership structure offers businesses a choice of benefits and services and the ability to choose a membership package which meet their individual needs and future demands, which is essential in a modern business world. The Chambers Premium Partner membership has attracted a huge amount of interest with 81 businesses joining this level over the past two years, demonstrating the success of the Chambers new structure. Brenda Jordan, Chief Operating Officer said: -It took a lot of hard work and dedication from the Chamber Board and staff to make the changes within our membership proposition, but it has proven to be the right decision for our members. -In accordance with our mission we will continue to 'support, grow & connect' businesses in the region and continued growth in our membership will help us to deliver this as we expand across the network. I am now in my 14th year at the Chamber and I believe this to be our best performing month during this time. -We have a dedicated and committed team who work hard to support our members and we look forward to an exciting year ahead. The Chamber are excited to launch several new services for 2019, which both new and existing members can use to grow and develop their business. The new services include: Chamber Invest, Chamber Business Finance, Chamber Hospitality, Chamber Connect Magazine, Hallam FM and Bauer Create Video Production Service, a new look Chamber Data Service and a dedicated Customs and AEO Consultancy. All these services have been created and designed around feedback from existing Chamber members to assist them with their business growth aspirations.
