Recruit an Intern From Sheffield Business School Subsidies Available

Building on the success of last year's internship scheme, Sheffield Business School are offering local organisations the opportunity to apply for a limited number of subsidised internships.

Organisations can apply for a subsidy to cover 33 hours of a 100 hour internship scheme. The students will be recruited and selected from the Business School according to the requirements of the role as specified by the organisation. Interns can work from 6 - 15 hours per week during term time and up to full time during vacations. Internships can start at any point during the academic year providing the first 33 hours are worked before the 31st July 2015. The cost to the host organisation is £667 plus VAT (to be invoiced at the end of the internship). The internship can be extended beyond 100 hours at a rate of £10 per hour plus VAT SBS Subject Areas The key subject areas within SBS are: Business Management, International Business, Marketing, Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, Strategic Management. Finance, Accounting and Banking. Hospitality, Events Management, Tourism, Food. How to book We have a limited number of internship subsidies so interested organisations are asked to submit a completed booking form to sbsemployabilityhub@shu.ac.uk Bookings will be accepted according to the value of their learning opportunities as well as practical considerations such as location and subsidies will be allocated for suitable opportunities on a first come first served basis. Please allow plenty of time - about 5 weeks to advertise the vacancy and 2 weeks' notice for interviews to allow the candidates to access careers advice.
