RECYCLE YOUR TREE TO SUPPORT LOCAL OUTDOOR LEARNING

Discovery Outdoors brings learning outdoors, improving wellbeing and creating biodiverse learning environments. You can join in by bringing your used Christmas tree to our HQ at Roots Allotments on 4th January. We will recycle it as new habitat!

Discovery Outdoors brings learning outdoors, improving wellbeing and creating biodiverse learning environments. 
You can join in by bringing your used Christmas tree to our HQ at Roots Allotments on 4th January. We will recycle it as new habitat! 
Dead hedging is a technique as old as time but brilliant for insects and small mammals.
We will also create woodchip, essential for sustaining water levels in soil!

We will take care of the technical bit. All you need to do it bring us your tree! No charge for recycling. Opportunities to donate are available but optional. 
All donates funds, like the trees, will be going into gardens at Bents Green School, our Roots HQ and other partner school gardens.
